KOSMO LOVE IS A COMPOSER AND TEACHER, ORGANIST & BASS-BARITONE, LIVING IN
SOUTH-WEST ENGLAND.
Kosmo started singing, ‘cello and organ studies, eventually focusing on contemporary and mediaeval music.After composition studies with Karlheinz Stockhausen, Christian Wolfe and Frank Denyer, Kosmo formed the ensemble Cosmos Organon as a performance-research group, dedicated to creating new music beginning with new ways of listening. Further research into historical music pedagogy led to his research and practice of plainchant, modal systems of singing, and the educational methods of the past that are based on vocal and keyboard improvisation

After many years, Kosmo gradually developed an educational syllabus by integrating various historical methods which are entirely practical and creative. Calliope Music Studio was started to provide this integrated and holistic alterative form of music education, where students learn a spoken language, and develop a creative voice. In addition to teaching counterpoint and improvisation/composition at Calliope Music Studio, Kosmo plays organ around the south-west of England, and performs medieval and contemporary music with Circle of Animals
